Women Are Meant to Overcome

April 26, 2019

Most women know how to harness their inner strength to face challenges; but not all are able to overcome their trials at the right time they are supposed to. Some trials last longer for some women who have lost their way and have dampened spirits in the face of adversity.

Despite struggling to overcome, there are some women who feel trapped in their current circumstances. They feel helpless and harassed by what life is throwing at them. Some even feel powerless because of the failure and rejection they receive time and time again. This can lead to feelings of insecurity, isolation and hopelessness for their future.

Aside from losing hope, these women become prone to falling into the ‘blame game’. Some turn their anger inward and blame themselves for their mistakes and wrong choices they have made in the past; but others turn their fury outwards. They put the blame on other people (whether or not these people are at fault) which promotes conflict and discord in their surrounding environment. While it is tempting and easy to point fingers, blaming only makes any situation worse. It does not solve anything and can make it even harder to focus on finding the right solution.

One enlightening quote about blame comes from an equally inspiring woman, Oprah Winfrey. She said, “You are responsible for your life. You can’t keep blaming somebody else for your dysfunction. Life is really about moving on.” Even if you feel trapped in your current circumstances, there is always a way and a reason for you to move on.

In God’s eyes, no woman is unworthy of DIVINE EXALTATION. No matter what mistakes you have made in the past that have put you in the situation that you are in, your cries to Him will always be heard. Lift your worries up to the Lord, and He will give you the strength you need to break free from your troubles
