Small Blessings Are Part of Your Big Future
February 11, 2019Testimonies often give us hope and increase our faith in the Lord. There are times, however, when we hear other people’s testimonies and we start to ask God, “When will I receive mine?”
When you hear incredible testimonies from other people, the tendency is, you aspire to have an amazing testimony of your own. Just as our faith is vulnerable, our hope is too. Sometimes, we get impatient and we listen to the whispers of the enemy. The enemy always tries to inject doubt in our minds and the feeling of hopelessness in our hearts. To fight this, we have to consider investing in our hope with Jesus.
The word of God is a great source of hope and that’s where we should focus. “We live by faith and not by sight.” We trust that everything is under control even when we are in the toughest situations.
Every day, God is doing something for our lives. It may seem small now, but it is part of His plan towards giving you a bigger and better future.
Do you believe that God will direct you in every step? Do you trust that He is under control of your life? Do you acknowledge that everything He has planned for you is merely for your own good? Trust is all you need and you will soon find yourself giving your own incredible testimony.
We do not need to wait for grand testimonies to give God gratitude for His works. We have already been given so many blessings from above that are deserving of thanks and praise to the Father.
Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise;
his greatness no one can fathom.
We do not praise God to get a blessing. Rather, we praise God for all the many blessings He has given. We acknowledge that all we have comes from Him.
Trust God in order to see His power work in your life.
