Who are the people who rely on you?
As women of today, there are usually a lot of people who rely on us. Our children, our husbands, our parents, our siblings are just some of the people who rely on us for different things. They have different demands and their dependence on us is based on various levels and reasons.
Sometimes, our countless responsibilities towards them can make us feel overwhelmed. But what we must understand is that we cannot give them all 100% satisfaction, 100% of the time. Although we love them immensely and we want to give them everything they want and need, it is impossible to fulfill and satisfy them all.
The best thing we can do, as women of today, is to manage our time wisely. By practicing time management, we can have more time to focus on the needs of our loved ones who depend on us. Here are three (3) Ps to help you manage your time:
Whether it’s for work or for your home, planning out your week makes a big difference. At home, you can make weekly meal plans to save you time in looking up recipes or heading out for the grocery for last minute ingredients. Also, planning your work outfit the night before helps save you time in the morning. Writing a to-do-list is one planning tool that can save you a lot of time and make you more efficient.
After writing your to-do list for the day, mark which ones are the priorities. Though many tasks may seem equally important, try to reduce their number and order them by significance.
Prayer gives you strength to face a new day. It gives you the courage to do all the tasks you need to accomplish. Fears, worries and anxieties can slow you down; but prayer can clear them away from your consciousness. When you have a clear mind and heart, you will be able to do your tasks better and faster.
Start each day with a prayer and be guided by God. Good time management begins with grace from God to conquer your day. With this, you can make sure that the people who rely on you will not be let down.
