God Is With You

April 17, 2020

How are you handling the current situation?

As we know, different people have different ways of coping. Each person’s experience is different, but people across the world generally share the same range of emotions brought about by this pandemic.

In order for us to move beyond the worry, the fear, the grief, the loneliness and the confusion, we need to know that God is with us.

The Bible says in Zephaniah 3:17 (NKJV):

“The Lord your God in your midst,

The Mighty One, will save;

He will rejoice over you with gladness,

He will quiet you with His love,

He will rejoice over you with singing.”

We must be reminded that God is in our midst at all times. Even in this crisis, He is there for His beloved children, always ready to hear our cries and requests. He brings protection and comfort to those who are fearful. He brings healing to those who suffer infirmities. He brings hope to those who are weak in spirit.

At a time like this, our eyes are opened to what is truly important. Part of this is our relationship with God. As children of God, we need to have a good and healthy relationship with the Father. Here are three quick ways on how to strengthen your relationship with God:

By turning these three things into a habit, we become closer to God and we become reminded of His constant presence in our lives.

Remember that God is with you! As Jesus said to His disciples, “And lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:20)
