Join the 24-Hour Prophetic Revival Conference Call

God bless you!

We’ve entered the month of April and I know many of you are seeking the peace of God amidst this COVID-19 situation. Every day, we open up the news to more and more people getting infected. We see people of authority weighing in their thoughts and opinions. We learn about the different countries across the world who are struggling to battle the virus just like we do.

I know the majority of you live in cities and states where there have been quarantines and restrictions set in place; and this brings anxiety and fear to even the best of us.

As leaders of faith, we are doing our part to be adaptive and responsive to the needs of God’s people. Because of this, we have called upon a company of prophets to form the 24-hour Prophetic Revival Conference Call

Will You not revive us again,

That Your people may rejoice in You?

Show us Your mercy, Lord,

And grant us Your salvation.

I will hear what God the Lord will speak,

For He will speak peace

To His people and to His saints;

But let them not turn back to folly.

Surely His salvation is near to those who fear Him,

That glory may dwell in our land.

-Psalm 85:6-7 (NKJV)

Why Is This Happening?

We are living in unprecedented times. The COVID-19 situation evolves from day to day and as of now it seems like it’s not stopping anytime soon. We are seeing infected people struggling to survive and the health workers being exposed everyday to this deadly virus.

Yes, it’s a scary situation indeed! You are not alone in wondering why is this happening. It is only the start of 2020 and a crisis of a global scale has already hit us. And now, as many of us have been encouraged or instructed to stay at home, we are forced to adjust to a new way of life and change our daily routines. We start to press on finding reasons for this thing and we come up with crazy ideas. But instead of asking, “Why is this happening?”, as Christians we should ask, “What do you want to teach us Lord?

What lesson can we get from this crisis? What works does God want from us while we are under quarantine? These are the better questions to ask. Because of the quarantine, many people have learned to appreciate the things they used to take for granted. Some people have taken this time to reconnect with their friends and family. Some have rediscovered long lost interests or talents they have forgotten. Some even have restored broken relationships because of this pandemic.

Instead of focusing on fear, worry and panic, we should focus on hearing the word of God at this time. In the Bible, Jesus healed so many people and He can do the same for us. Put your trust and faith in Him, and ask what He wants from you in this unusual time.

Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

Psalm 103:1-3

God bless you!

Receive Right Away

A Blessed New Year to one and all! We have entered another decade with joy and faith in Christ!

As Christians, we know that whenever we need anything from God, we simply have to make our requests known to Him through prayer

Now, what do you want for your life this new year?

Whenever we want something, we want to receive it right away. In today’s world, we get everything in an instant. Fast food, fast information (Google), fast purchases (same day shipping), fast communication, fast transportation, and even fast fashion. The new generation is so used to this that they easily get impatient when they don’t get things as fast as they expected.

When we want something from God, we also want to receive it right away. Oftentimes, we get anxious and worried waiting for God to give us our answers. The Lord makes us patient so that when we receive His blessings, we will be truly ready.

In every request, remember that God knows best. He may or may not give you exactly what you ask for, but He does what is best for your life. The Bible says:

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

-Proverbs 3:5-6

You may think right now that “A” is what you need, but God knows that what you really need is “B”.  As humans, we are highly intelligent beings, but God is still superior above us all. Trust in the Lord and lean not on your own understanding.

Do not err, my beloved brethren.

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

-James 1:17

Take Away Your Negative Self Image

How do you see yourself?

There are many men and women today who do not live up to their God-given potential. They have the talent; they have the skills; but they do not do anything with them. They are aware of what they have, but they don’t have the courage to step out and use them.

Now, ask yourself, are you one of these people?

If your answer is yes, what is stopping you from going out and using your talent or skill to better your life?

Some people have the talent, skill, or even the resources or connections to do great things. But what’s holding them back is a negative self image.

A negative self image is the same thing as having a low self esteem. When you have a negative self image, you tend to be too hard on yourself. You choose to overlook the positive qualities that you have and focus instead on your weaknesses and shortcomings.

People who have this type of self image do not know or have forgotten who they are in Christ. The Bible says:

“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.”

– Genesis 1:27

“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.”

-Ephesians 2:10

We were created by God in His image and likeness. That alone should give us confidence in what we are truly worth.

We are worth more than what we think, what other people think, or what society thinks. Our poor self image simply tricks us into thinking we are incapable of doing things that will make a difference. God has placed within us the power to improve our lives through the talents and skills that we have. Don’t allow your poor self image to deter you from your true destiny!

Build a Long Lasting Marriage

Marriage is a wonderful thing. God has given us the institution of marriage for us to share our lives with one another in love and happiness.

The Bible says in Mark 10:6-9

“But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.

For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife;

And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh.

What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.”

God’s plan is for man and woman to be ONE in marriage. And through marriage, the husband (man) and the wife (woman) will grow a family that loves and serves the Lord

From the very beginning, we were instructed by God to multiply and be fruitful. The Bible says in Genesis 1:28 (NKJV):

“Then God blessed them, and God said to them,

“Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it;

have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air,

and over every living thing that moves on the earth.””

Having a Long Lasting Marriage Is Possible

Marriage was created by God to last. To build a long lasting marriage, your marriage must be rooted in faith. Marriage is a covenant between MAN, WOMAN, and GOD.

In today’s world, long lasting marriages are hard to come by, but it doesn’t mean that you can’t make it happen! I, personally, am now celebrating 40 wonderful years of being married. And I am here to you to tell you that a long lasting marriage is truly possible!

The Bible says in Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 (NKJV)

“Two are better than one,

Because they have a good reward for their labor.

For if they fall, one will lift up his companion.

But woe to him who is alone when he falls,

For he has no one to help him up.

Again, if two lie down together, they will keep warm;

But how can one be warm alone?”

Build a long lasting marriage by inviting the Holy Spirit to work within you and your spouse. Keep your marriage rooted in faith and let all your actions glorify the Lord!

Giving Gratitude to God

When was the last time you said ‘thank you’ to God?

We often spend more time in prayer asking things from the Lord, than thanking Him for His blessings. There may have been times when we forget to thank Him at all, once we have received what we have asked for.

Think about these questions:

  1. Have you ever forgotten to thank God?
  2. Have you ever been misled by the enemy to think that God had nothing to do with it?

Some people think that what they have in their lives is only a result of their own hard work and effort. But what they fail to realize is that they wouldn’t have been given the opportunity if it were not for the Lord’s blessings.

God works silently and in mysterious ways to bring us to our rightful place. He sends us His divine grace, even when we fail to acknowledge it. Some people think their success is all their own, but they wouldn’t even have life if were not for our Creator!

Remember, everything that you have, everything that you have received, everything that you have accomplished, is through the grace of God!

Giving Gratitude to God on Thanksgiving

Tomorrow, we will be celebrating Thanksgiving Day in the United States. As Christians, we are taught to cultivate gratitude in our lives. The Bible says:

“And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.”

 – Colossians 3:17 (NKJV)

The most common way of expressing gratitude to God is through prayer and worship. The scripture tells us that there is also another way, which is through our deeds or actions.

We can thank God by offering our words and deeds to Him. What we do, as followers of Jesus, can be a reflection of our love and gratitude to God. Let’s give God the thanks He truly deserves!

Improve Your Prayer Life

Do you think your prayer life needs improvement?

The Bible reminds us this:

Rejoice evermore.

Pray without ceasing.

In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

There are four things that we can learn from these verses on how to improve your prayer life:

  1. Pray without ceasing

The Scripture tells us that we should pray without ceasing. Prayer keeps us connected to God. It gives us hope. It gives us strength. Whatever problems or trials that come into our lives, we know that we can come to God through prayer and in Him we will find our solution.

When you pray, ask God to align yourself with His divine will. Let God’s will take over. Have faith in the One who knows what’s best for you.

2. Pray in faith

Always pray in faith. James 1:6 says, “But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.” In every prayer request, remember that God knows and wants what’s best for you. He may not always give you exactly what you ask for, but He will always bring you exactly what you need in life.

3. Give thanks

We should always give thanks in our prayers. Gratitude is an important part of our Christian life. Not only does it strengthen our relationship with God, but it also brings us more happiness and contentment. Gratitude opens our hearts to more good things to come our way.

4. Give praise and glory

Together with songs and declarations of gratitude, we should give praise and glory to God, our Almighty Father, who has blessed us and has kept us in His love. It is our duty to make His power and glory known to all people. Psalm 105:1-2 says, “O give thanks unto the Lord; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people. Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk ye of all his wondrous works.”

Follow these basic steps to improve your prayer life and relationship with Jesus. Our prayer lives are important; for it is through prayer that we receive God’s great blessings which help us live our lives to the fullest.

Living in Peace with Others

Today, we celebrate Remembrance Day in the United States. It is a holiday in honor of all military personnel who served the country. Veterans, in particular, are highly honored on this day; both those who are still living and those who have died in the line of duty.

While this holiday reminds us of their brave efforts, it should also remind us of something equally important. And that is the value of PEACE.

Not many people know that Remembrance Day came from Armistice Day, which marks the cessation of hostilities during World War I. Armistice, as defined by Merriam-Webster, is the ‘temporary stopping of open acts of warfare by agreement between the opponents’. In short, it is a time of peace between opposing nations.

The Bible tells us that we were called to be living in peace with others. God wants us to live in peace and harmony. He wants His sons and daughters to dwell together in peace so that we can all experience joy and happiness. Colossians 3:15 (NKJV) says, “And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.

Are you answering God’s call to be living in peace with others?

We were meant to live together in peace. As Christians, we are blessed because the peace of God is made available to us. God brings us peace and we have God to turn to every time we are facing situations that may lead to conflict.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

-Philippians 4:6-7 (NKJV)

As we celebrate Remembrance Day, we remember not only the ones who have served with courage, but we also remember the importance of and value peace according to Christ Jesus.

May peace fill you and your household!

Time to Let Go

When is the right time to let go?

Our pain and suffering often results from our unwillingness to let go. There are certain things that we keep holding on to, but not all of these things are good for our mind and spirit.

These are the top five (5) things that we need to let go of:

  • Worry and Anxiety

Everyone experiences worries and anxieties at one point or another, but if you have them all the time, it is definitely not good for you. Worry and anxiety can hold you back from making good decisions that will better your life.

  • Negative comments

In this digitally connected world that we live in, it is easy to receive negative comments on the internet from people who do not even know you personally. While it may seem easy to brush off negative comments, some of them linger in our consciousness. Let go of these negative comments and don’t let them bring down your self-esteem.

  •  Disappointment

We all have disappointments, but as Nelson Mandela said, “The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.”

  • Resentment

Are you still resentful of something that someone did to you in the past? Bearing a grudge won’t do you any good. While the other person moves on to other things, you will just be harboring darkness inside your heart. So, it’s time to let go.

  • Regret

Some people have regrets, some don’t. Holding on to regret will just keep you stuck in the same situation and prevent you from moving forward to greater things.

We need to let go of these things so that we can step into the great destiny that God has designed for us. Think of these five things as heavy stones you are carrying. The longer you carry them, the more you will feel tired and lose your strength. It is about time to let go!

The Ups and Downs of Life

November is here and we can’t help but think of how quickly time flies. A lot of things have happened this year—some good, some bad—but we’ve surpassed them all by the grace of God.

Some people ask, “If God is really watching, why do these bad things still happen to me?” The simple truth is, life is made up of ups and downs. Sometimes, we are up; and sometimes, we are down. That’s the way life is. There is no way around it. But God is there to make the downs shorter and the ups longer.

“Then they cry unto the Lord in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses.”

– Psalm 107:19

God is always watching over us. He reaches out His hand from above to lift us and deliver us from our troubles here on earth. He brings us blessings that help us pick ourselves up and get back on track. His blessings range from giving us comfort to creating the happiest memories with our loved ones.

Whenever bad things or troubles are on the horizon, we must not fear it. As God’s children, we must know that we have a helper in Christ Jesus.

“He sent from above, He took me,

He drew me out of many waters.

He delivered me from my strong enemy,

From those who hated me;

For they were too strong for me.

They confronted me in the day of my calamity,

But the Lord was my support.

He also brought me out into a broad place;

He delivered me because He delighted in me.”

-2 Samuel 22:17-20 NKJV

We must face life with faith in the Lord. If we live in fear of what’s to come, we will never be able to reach the level of success that God wants for us.

“So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.”

– Hebrews 13:6
