God Has a Plan for You

Jeremiah 29:11 NIV

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

As humans, we always want things to go our way; and we sometimes get disappointed when they do not turn out the way we want them to. So, we reach out to God and pray that He will bless us with the things we are asking of Him.

There are times when, even after praying, we still don’t receive the answer. That does not mean that God has forgotten about us or is not listening to our prayers. God is great and kind, He will never let us down. He is always listening, no matter what we ask of Him. Remember, God has a plan for us. We should be patient, for God knows what He is doing.

God has a plan, and He will do it in His time, for only He knows what is best for us. Let us not lose our faith when things do not go as we planned. God will give it to you. Continue praying and be patient. Trust God and leave everything unto Him.

Let us pray…

Dear God, I pray that you bless us with the things we are asking for. In today’s generation, life has become difficult and we ask for your guidance and protection. We ask that you help us improve ourselves and support our loved ones. Nobody can help us but you. Please, hear our prayer and never leave our side, for we do not know what will happen if you are not here. Bless us God with your grace and kindness. Amen.

Overcome Temptation

How to Overcome Temptation Through Faith

No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it. —1 Corinthians 10:13

On today’s verse, we’re going to talk about man’s temptation. We sometimes hear a bad mysterious voice whispering in our ears to do bad deeds, but God will not let us be tempted to do such things. God is kind and merciful. He is always watching over His children and He will not let us fall easily into Satan’s evil hands.

If you feel like you are being tempted to do sinful things, do not forget to pray to overcome temptation. Let the Holy Father guard your heart from sin.

As Christians, we should always pray to God. We should pray to ask for forgiveness for our past sins, and ask God to strengthen us in a lot of ways, especially in overcoming Satan’s temptations.

But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. 10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. 11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. – 1 Timothy 6:9-11

What Matters

Isaiah 40:31 NIV

but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

We all have things that we want and dreams we want to achieve. So we pray to God to help us reach that goal and receive our blessings. We thank Him for everything that He has done for us and appreciate everything. But sometimes, people forget what matters the most when they have already received their blessings.

We should know that praying and thanking God for everything is very important, but some people will forget that as soon as they receive what they want in life. They are blinded by their goals and even by their money. And when they feel lost and weak once again, they’ll come to God and pray to renew their strength and ask for forgiveness.

God will forgive anyone who will seek for forgiveness, but we should always remember and keep in mind not to forget our faith in God and keep praying. Be it asking for a blessing and/or thanking Him, we should talk to God about a lot of things. Praying is very important and the nearest approach to God. It is what matters.

Renew Your Strength

31 but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31 NIV

Recently, I’ve received a message from our brother in the ministry, asking for a prayer. He was losing his faith and feels really weak and far from God.

I know most of you are feeling this. There are times when you think that you are far away from our Lord God; or even worse, losing faith in Him. But, it’s not yet too late to pull yourself back up and serve the Lord and be faithful to Him.

Remember to always ask for forgiveness from the Lord. He will always forgive your sins when you ask for forgiveness. When feeling weak because of your daily life challenges, come to Him to give you strength. And when you think the Lord has not given your blessings yet, be patient and talk to God.

Tell Him all your problems, tell Him what you’re feeling and tell Him what you want. He will always listen to you and be there for you. Do not lose faith in God; He is always making a move. You just need to keep your faith, trust, and love for our Lord God.

Let’s pray together. Bow down your head and pray.

Dear Lord God, forgive us for our sins, especially if we are losing faith in you. Please do not turn your back on us. In moments when we feel like our faith is leaving us, please hold our hand and guide us back in your direction. Thank you, Jesus. Amen.

God Cares

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. -Philippians 4:6

We all have our moments when we feel very anxious about everything. That is all part of the challenges we face in our daily lives. It’s very unsettling, but every time I experience the feeling of anxiety, the words of Paul would always echo in my head: Don’t worry, instead, pray (Phil. 4:6–7).

Let’s talk about Paul and his challenges. He was beaten. He was jailed. He was shipwrecked. But, in his letter to the Philippian church, he encouraged his friends who were also facing uncertainty, telling them, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” (V. 6).

Paul’s words encourage me. Life is nothing without challenges and uncertainties. But, despite all of that, we shouldn’t forget to reach out to God and ask for help. Be it for financial problems, health and family issues, etc. He will always be there. He cares.

Dear God, thank you for everything. Your unconditional love eases my mind. You never leave our side, and you’re always there for us everytime we reach out to you and lift up our troubles. Amen.

God Loves Us

This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us. 1 John 4:10

Do we really know what real love is? What do we know about true love? In this verse, John emphasizes that love is not something which originated from man. Instead, it comes from God, given to us.

Verse 19 says, We love because he first loved us.” God loved us first and His love provides us the opportunity to be born of Him, to know Him, and to love others. God’s love is not merely a feeling or an opinion, because of the example God has given to us. God sent Jesus into our world as an act of love.

Have you been praying and expressing how much you love Him and thank Him for everything? Never forget about praying. Never forget to reach out to Him, whether you’re feeling up or down.

Praying is the nearest way to reach out and communicate with God. Let’s all bow down our heads and pray.

Jesus, I want to be like You who obeyed the Father without complaint. You embraced the chains of humanity when You walked this earth. Convict me whenever I complain or compare myself with others. Give me Your attitude of humility and thankful acceptance. Amen.

God bless us all!

Praise the Godly Women in Your Life

“Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: “Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.” —Proverbs 31:28-29

When was the last time you praised a Godly woman for her life of faith and grace? Have you ever appreciated a Godly woman before? You should take time and consider writing an appreciation note for the many Godly women we have in our life.

Who is a Godly woman? A Godly woman considers a good education next to divine influence; and she also knows that if she trains up a child in the way he/she should go, when he/she is old, he/she will not depart from it.

She teaches her children the fear of the Lord, and obedience to His testimonies; therefore, they call her blessed. They are of decent, orderly, respectable, religious behavior. And because of that, her husband is so satisfied with her conduct towards himself, his household, his business, and their children, that he praises her.

She is a godly wife and mother. She is a helpmate to her husband, and of course, a very wise mother for their children.

Never forget to show your appreciation to these Godly women. Tell them how much they mean to you and your faith.

The Word of God is Living and Powerful

For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.– Hebrews 4:12

Now I am tempted to take every word here and probe into why it is used. Like, why mention joints and bone marrow? And what’s the difference between spirit and soul? And what precisely is the difference between thoughts and intentions? And so on. These are right questions, and they are worth meditating on for hours.

I wonder if we couldn’t all agree on this statement from verse 12: one of the functions of the Word of God when it comes into us, is that it penetrates very deep—like a sword through tough, hard layers—and makes judgments about what’s there.

Because God’s Word is authoritative to expose our sin and God Himself sees everything, we must be diligent to have our hearts right before Him.

There is no point in maintaining hypocrisy before God and His Son. We are known by Him inside and out. Only if we are going to be honest with ourselves before God, then we can find real understanding and help.

God’s Unconditional Love Will Endure Forever

Love is a strong affection for another arising out of kinship or personal ties. Love is one of the pleasant words to everyone. As a result, one of our greatest needs is to love and to be loved.

Have you imagined how God Loves you?

Psalms 103:10-12 He does not deal with us according to our sins, nor repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his steadfast love toward those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far does he remove our transgressions from us.

God extends his love to all his creation without distinction. God wants us to know that His love is unconditional. God loves all of us and offers salvation without condition. In Fact, God loved our sinful race so much that he sacrifices his Son to save humanity. The Sacrifice of Jesus Christ is the best way to show God’s love. He sent his son for us to believe that God exists. And knowing the God of love can help to make us more loving and giving persons. Not only will getting to know Him more intimately cause us to become more like Him, but resting secure in the assurance that He loves us. It is really important that we understand how much God loves us. It will keep us going and will serve as a motivation to continue life.

John 13:35 By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.

This is an amazing love, because we are the ones who choose to reject God, yet it’s God who mends the separation through His intense personal sacrifice, and all we have to do is accept His gift.. We are called to love one another. We should share the love that we had from God. Loving others is the only way to keep the God-kind of life flowing through you.
To sum up, God’s love for us is the most important thing we can receive and the only love that will endure forever.

5 Things You Must Know About Building Loyalty

It takes work to building loyalty. Building loyalty exists when someone has a strong support or allegiance towards someone or something. Loyalty is also significantly critical for businesses, for leaders, and for breakthroughs. Loyalty is not reserved for romantic relationships or marriages. Instead, loyalty is a powerful thing to gain for leadership influence. Here are five things you must understand about building loyalty:

  1. Loyalty Means You ALWAYS Get Chosen

When people are loyal to a leader or a company, a better offer will be turned down. Moreover, loyal people are willing to experience inconvenience or to pay a premium just so they can stick with the company. For example, it doesn’t matter if you’re working longer hours because you believe in the company you’re working for. Customers who experience inconvenience for buying your products, such as having to go in line for hours just to buy the latest gadget offering, might say, “This is not worth it!” and shift to another brand.

  1. Loyalty Means They’re Happy With Their Choice

Loyal people are not only choosing you all they time. They also perceive greater value for what you do and will happily pay a premium or suffer some sort of inconvenience to be part of your cause.  Loyal people are the people who, on their own volition, will tell others about you.

  1. Loyalty Cannot Be Explained

If you ask these people “why” they’re loyal to you, you probably won’t get answers that you can accurately quantify. The closest you can extract will be “they just get you”. However, if you get people to be loyal to you, they will encourage the rest to follow you.

  1. Loyalty Cannot Be Forced

There are two ways to influence behavior, through manipulation and through inspiration. Of the two, only inspiration can build loyalty. Enrollment is a powerful inspiration. It is the ability to touch, to move, and to inspire. Manipulation is not necessarily evil, but it will never be an inspiration or an enrollment.

  1. Loyalty is Produced by Authentic Causes

A clear sense of purposes sets expectations. When we don’t know what an organization stands for, we don’t know what to expect, so we expect the minimum — price, quality, service, and features — the commodity stuff. However, when we do have a sense for the leader’s “why”, we expect more. When more is delivered, we trust these leaders, and soon, loyalty can be formed.
