The Power of Choice in Discovering Your Higher Self

The power of choice determines our growth and freedom. Every single day, we have the chance to choose. When we exercise the power of choice, we hold ourselves responsible for our choices. We are able to consciously decide so that we are not blaming others for the outcome of our choices.

We All Have the Power of Choice

How many times have you heard others or yourself say, “I don’t have a choice”? Most of us are guilty of this. I, myself, also used to say this a lot until I learned to own my choices. The truth is that we always have a choice. This is the only thing we have even when we face life’s biggest challenges…

The 4 Choices We Have in Life

Next time you say you don’t have a choice, breathe for a moment and think. In between the stimulus and your response is a space that allows you to make a choice. Here are the 4 choices we all have at any given circumstance.

1. Stay in the belief of “I don’t have a choice” and always become the victim

Whenever you say “I don’t have a choice”, you are already choosing to be the victim. You are giving up control of your life to people or circumstances. It is like living your life on auto-pilot because you have made a choice and now couldn’t get out of it. I am telling you, this can be really energy-draining and disempowering. Soon enough, it will take its toll on your health and well-being.

2. Make a new option or agreement

It totally makes sense to stick to the original agreement. However, at times, creating a new one is the best option for all parties. Can you extend the deadline? Can you work out the price? Is there any other way you can achieve your desired outcome? Always think of a win-win solution.

3. Seek help from others

Pride often gets in the way of getting what we truly deserve. You have to start discovering alternative resources to broaden your choices. Think about duplicating yourself or delegating your workload to other team members. Are there any other resources you haven’t tapped?

4. Enjoy and accept your original choice

Now, this is the most challenging choice anyone could have. When you choose to stick with your original choice, it requires your commitment to changing the way you see it. I am not telling you to pretend but to develop a new perspective of your original choice so you re-learn to embrace and enjoy it.

The Power of Choice and Your Higher Self

Once you take ownership of your choices, you empower yourself more. You overcome your fears. You discover the strengths you never knew existed. This, in turn, makes you feel good about yourself. You live your life with happiness and inner peace. It is all about changing your old-age belief that you don’t have a choice…

Spiritual Amnesia

My understanding returned to me; and I blessed the Most High. – Daniel 4:34 nkjv

As we all know, amnesia is a condition that involves the loss of memories. It can make us forget about who we are, where we are from, and everything else. Amnesia is indeed something serious; it could hurt our loved ones for not knowing who they are and could lead to difficulty in forming new memories.

However, it is different when it comes to having an amnesia spiritually. What is Spiritual Amnesia? I’ve met a lot of people saying that they are lost; they don’t know where to head to anymore because they’ve lost faith in God. They don’t know what to do, nor do they know who they really are. Some tell me it’s because God seems to not hear their prayers, and there’s no blessings coming to them.

I always tell them that everything that’s happening in our life is already a blessing in itself. Every second that we’re alive is already a blessing from the Lord. If you’re asking something from the Lord and He still hasn’t delivered your blessings, don’t think that He’s already forgotten you. The Lord only wants you to be strong and prepared for the time when He has already given you what you have been asking for. What you need to do is to wait, be patient and trust Him.

He truly loves you and He will never forget about you. Keep praying and keep your faith in God, and all of the blessings you are asking for will be delivered. Don’t feel lost. The direction of your being should be focused in and directed towards our Lord God.

Let us pray together…

Dear Lord God, help us remember your divine promises. There are times when we question everything, times when we almost lose our faith in you. Please forgive us for our sins. We don’t want to lose you, we want you to always be by our side; because if you’re not, our Lord God, we would be lost. We wouldn’t know which direction to follow, for you are our guardian. Please help us and look after us everyday. Amen.

Even When Life Is Difficult, He Is There for Us

“How long, Lord? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me? How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and day after day have sorrow in my heart? How long will my enemy triumph over me?” – Psalm 13:1–2

Sometimes, our struggles in life seem as though they will never end. We experience pain in a lot of ways. People experience pain through health issues, relationship problems, addictions, loss of a loved one, and many others. Just recently, I know someone whose pet cat passed away. Even if pets are not human like us, people can love them as if they’re human. The pain can be tremendous, and it could go on for a very long time.

This is where the care and comfort of our Heavenly Father step in. The Lord cares for us deeply, and we can go to Him with our pain and loss. He will never forsake us. In our times of pain and weakness, we can always reach out to Him. We can lift up to Him all of our pain and anxiety and He can wipe it all away with His mighty hand.

God’s unfailing love will carry us throughout our journey and we can rejoice in His salvation.

Let’s pray together…

Dear Lord God,

Please guide us in our daily lives and watch over us. We have enemies who have been trying to hurt us every day. We are reaching out to you to always be by our side. In our seemingly endless moments of struggles in life, we ask you to wrap your arms around us and embrace us when we feel weak. We wouldn’t know what direction to walk in if you’re not beside us. We ask this, in your holy name, Amen.

God Is Moving

What is God’s plan for your life?

Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)

“For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Every step in our life, God had already planned out everything for us even before we were born. God does not reveal His plans to us all at once because we could not handle them. He gives us just a glimpse through visions and dreams, but He plans for us to all live a prosperous life. If you think that God is not listening to any of your prayers because you’re not receiving the blessings you are asking Him for, don’t lose trust and faith in God. Let Him make a move and be patient.

God will never forget about you, just wait for Him. He does the work in His own time, and He doesn’t want to give it to you just yet because you are not ready. Everything would take time because God wants us to be fully prepared for everything before He reveals it to us one by one. Never stop praying to God.

Let’s take our time and be patient while we continue to pray and trust in God’s plan. Do not pray only in times of trouble and when you’re asking Him for something; pray also to thank Him and be grateful that you are part of Him.

Let’s pray together…

Dear Lord God, I pray that you do not forget about us, your beloved children. We will continue praying to you and doing your will, Father. We will always be patient and lay all our problems onto you. Please help us in times of hardship. Amen.

Overcome Temptation

How to Overcome Temptation Through Faith

No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it. —1 Corinthians 10:13

On today’s verse, we’re going to talk about man’s temptation. We sometimes hear a bad mysterious voice whispering in our ears to do bad deeds, but God will not let us be tempted to do such things. God is kind and merciful. He is always watching over His children and He will not let us fall easily into Satan’s evil hands.

If you feel like you are being tempted to do sinful things, do not forget to pray to overcome temptation. Let the Holy Father guard your heart from sin.

As Christians, we should always pray to God. We should pray to ask for forgiveness for our past sins, and ask God to strengthen us in a lot of ways, especially in overcoming Satan’s temptations.

But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. 10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. 11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. – 1 Timothy 6:9-11

Read previous blog: What Matters

What Matters

Isaiah 40:31 NIV

but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

We all have things that we want and dreams we want to achieve. So we pray to God to help us reach that goal and receive our blessings. We thank Him for everything that He has done for us and appreciate everything. But sometimes, people forget what matters the most when they have already received their blessings.

We should know that praying and thanking God for everything is very important, but some people will forget that as soon as they receive what they want in life. They are blinded by their goals and even by their money. And when they feel lost and weak once again, they’ll come to God and pray to renew their strength and ask for forgiveness.

God will forgive anyone who will seek for forgiveness, but we should always remember and keep in mind not to forget our faith in God and keep praying. Be it asking for a blessing and/or thanking Him, we should talk to God about a lot of things. Praying is very important and the nearest approach to God. It is what matters.

A Healthy Mind

Healthy Mind is something that God has given to us.

Health, in its simplest definition, is the state of being free from illness or injury. Although it is mostly associated with the physical aspect, health equally refers to a person’s mental condition as well.

There is much said today concerning how to improve our health by developing habits of optimism, whether dealing with a difficult medical diagnosis or a conflict at work. One way is to practice positive actions that will serve as an antidote to pessimism and discouragement. It is significant for everyone to have a healthy mind in order to keep themselves on track.

How to achieve a healthy mind in Christ?

A healthy mind can be achieved through a lot of ways. First is by releasing stress. People can release stress by exploring different activities that may bring them joy, gratitude, love and fulfillment. Second is by listening to inspirational or relaxing music. For some, listening to music takes them to a world without any struggles, where they feel free. But the most important method is through simply talking to God. Giving all worries and doubts to Him will bring peace of mind to anyone seeks it.

“Cast your burden on the Lord, And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved” (Psalm 55:22). God wants people to lean on Him for support; He will carry all burdens and keep people from slipping. God is always listening to our prayers. He greatly loves us and does not forget the sacrifice of Jesus. “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life”  (John 3:16). This verse shows the love of God to people. Jesus sacrificed for us. He is the source of our hope. He can fill our hearts and minds with peace.

Remember: Trust in the Lord, do good and commit your way to the Lord. That is the formula to a healthy mind.

Discovering Your True Purpose

It’s time to start discovering true purpose. Before you can inspire others, you must first be inspired to live your life ON purpose. Here are 4 ways you can discover your true purpose in life.

  1. Know Your Cause

The first step to discovering your purpose is to distinguish what your cause is. There is no point enrolling others if you do not have a cause to stand by and work towards. Thus, it is essential that first and foremost, you must find what it is you wish to dedicate all your time and energy into.

If we want to determine what our cause should be, we must think of what it is God wants us to accomplish in our time here on earth. The key to answering such a question is to look inwardly, and as honestly as you can. Ask yourself what you are naturally inclined towards. What interests and inspires you? What are you passionate about? What cause suits the unique traits and talents that you have?

Remember, if you want to enroll others in your cause, make sure that your causes something you are inspired by. That is the only way in which you can inspire others in turn.

  1. Connect with Others With the Same Cause

We cannot enroll anyone unless we are completely invested in the idea of sharing our cause with others. Those who feel half-hearted about having new members onboard will more likely have difficulty engaging people in enrollment.

Despite the fact that humans are naturally social creatures, there are some people who prefer to actualize their cause without any external help. They may have many friends and family members who are close to them, yet still they prefer to keep their cause to themselves. They are uncomfortable with the idea of letting others in on something that is very personal and meaningful to them.

If we are truly committed to actualizing our cause, we must overcome our hang-ups when it comes to working with others. We must welcome the idea of forming a team and leading others. That is the only way we will be able to create a space for true enrollment.

3. Be Courageous to Express Your Passion

One of the best ways to enroll others is by simply being genuine. Many people are surprised by the fact that enrollment can be very easy if one is authentic. You need not convince or pursue others to enroll in your cause when you are already genuinely expressing your passion for it.

    1. Living Out Your Passion is a Process

One thing great leaders know to be true is that enrollment, when done properly, is an ongoing process. We do not simply cease to enroll the moment we have enough members onboard. Those who are part of the team are continually being enrolled from start to finish. If we want to have a team of engaged and competent members, we must understand that enrollment is ongoing, thus, must be nurtured. We need to be active participants in the journey of each of our members.

What is your true cause in life? Excited to see your response.

Interesting Facts About Covenants in the Bible

There is so many facts about covenants in the bible. I want to discuss what is the covenants in the bible. In the Word of God, you’ll see different types of covenants. Unlike contracts, covenants cannot be broken. They stand the test of time; even up to our present and future time.

  1. For conditional covenants, you must act.

A conditional covenant is a type of covenant that is a proposal of God to man, it consists of this type of formula: “If you will, then I will.”

This type of covenant where God promises to grant blessings to man if they fulfill the conditions that God has given them and if the man fails to fulfill the conditions that was given by God, then there is a punishment. The blessings are secured by obedience to God’s will.

  1. God is faithful with unconditional covenants.

An unconditional covenant is an act where God has obligated himself to bring definite blessings and conditions to his people. The formula for this covenant is: “I will”.

I will means God declares his determination to do what he promised to his people. Blessings are secured by his grace. There are certain conditions in the covenant by which God requests his people to fulfill out of gratitude but God’s blessings is not dependent on them.

  1.  The Eden Covenant is the first covenant between God and man.

The eden covenant is made between God and Adam. Adam is the representative of the entire human race and his actions will take effect in the whole humanity.

  1. The Adam covenant represents the whole human race, not just Adam.

In the Adam covenant, God and Adam are the one who is involve in this covenant. Adam is again representing the whole human race to God. The judgment that God gave to Adam is the judgment to humanity. In this covenant God has individually addressed the serpent, Satan, Adam and Eve.

There are three provisions that concern the serpent:

  1. He is cursed above all creatures in the animal kingdom.
  2. The serpent is to crawl on its belly.
  3. Dust shall be the serpent’s food.

There are four provisions given into relationship with Satan.

  1. There would be hatred between Satan and woman.
  2. This hatred will culminate between Satan’s seed, the antichrist and the woman’s seed, the messiah.
  3. The serpent would bruise the heel of the woman’s seed.
  4. The prophecy of the Lord’s victory over Satan goes on to say that the woman’s seed will crush Satan’s head.

Eve and all women have three provisions:

  • Multiplication of menstrual pain and conception.
  • The woman was to give birth in pain.
  • The wife has to be in subjection to the husband.
  1. The Noah covenant is the basis of human government.

This covenant is between God and Noah. Just like Adam, Noah stood as a representative for the entire human race. When God let the earth be flooded, everything was wiped out. Mankind descended not just from Adam but also from Noah. I go into the details of this covenant in my book, 10 Commandments of Covenants in the Scripture.” The judgment of tribulation against gentiles will come because of the violations in the Noah covenant

  1. We can claim the unconditional covenant God made with Abraham.

The Abraham covenant is about God’s promise. It is an unconditional covenant; that last through the end of time.

You will show faithfulness to Jacob and steadfast love to Abraham,
as you have sworn to our fathers
from the days of old. (Micah 7:20, ESV)

What is your covenant that God have given to you?

Looking forward to reading your comments.

5 Things You Must Know About Building Loyalty

It takes work to building loyalty. Building loyalty exists when someone has a strong support or allegiance towards someone or something. Loyalty is also significantly critical for businesses, for leaders, and for breakthroughs. Loyalty is not reserved for romantic relationships or marriages. Instead, loyalty is a powerful thing to gain for leadership influence. Here are five things you must understand about building loyalty:

  1. Loyalty Means You ALWAYS Get Chosen

When people are loyal to a leader or a company, a better offer will be turned down. Moreover, loyal people are willing to experience inconvenience or to pay a premium just so they can stick with the company. For example, it doesn’t matter if you’re working longer hours because you believe in the company you’re working for. Customers who experience inconvenience for buying your products, such as having to go in line for hours just to buy the latest gadget offering, might say, “This is not worth it!” and shift to another brand.

  1. Loyalty Means They’re Happy With Their Choice

Loyal people are not only choosing you all they time. They also perceive greater value for what you do and will happily pay a premium or suffer some sort of inconvenience to be part of your cause.  Loyal people are the people who, on their own volition, will tell others about you.

  1. Loyalty Cannot Be Explained

If you ask these people “why” they’re loyal to you, you probably won’t get answers that you can accurately quantify. The closest you can extract will be “they just get you”. However, if you get people to be loyal to you, they will encourage the rest to follow you.

  1. Loyalty Cannot Be Forced

There are two ways to influence behavior, through manipulation and through inspiration. Of the two, only inspiration can build loyalty. Enrollment is a powerful inspiration. It is the ability to touch, to move, and to inspire. Manipulation is not necessarily evil, but it will never be an inspiration or an enrollment.

  1. Loyalty is Produced by Authentic Causes

A clear sense of purposes sets expectations. When we don’t know what an organization stands for, we don’t know what to expect, so we expect the minimum — price, quality, service, and features — the commodity stuff. However, when we do have a sense for the leader’s “why”, we expect more. When more is delivered, we trust these leaders, and soon, loyalty can be formed.
